The tools are currently focused towards enabling ourselves to work more effectively with our clients
- Knowledge Base comprising information about the products we develop and also many common Windows and network problems.
- Case Ticketing System which allows developers, clients and staff to interact co-operatively to solve problems and answer questions.
- Error Logger enables us to track and manage software related issues directly without interupting our clients workflow. This provides not only a complete list of issues and problems occuring "in the wild" but allows developers to pin point trouble spots, fix them quickly and also enables them to analyse common problems and design around them.
- Client Downloads provides our clients with the latest versions of all the applications Redgum develop for them. Hot fixes, cumlative patches and entire setup kits are all provided here along with standard install packages that are always required when installing new software.
Some of the specific modules we have developed for clients are
- The Optima portal, developed for Advanced Publishing Systems, is focused on delivering tools to the newsprint publishing industry
- Space Reservation is a display ad placement and booking system. It allows a broad range of people to make exact placement bookings into multiple newspapers and any forward editions of newspapers through a single interface.
- Layout Viewer Allows veiwing of display advertiment and edition layout information through an simple intranet solution bringing all of the prepress departments together saving time and providing auditable change history for every ad in every edition of a newspaper.
- Copy Manager. Copy manager controls and tracks the production process of each and every advertisement within an edition of a newspaper. It allows production managers, graphics and layout operators to control and oversee the management of the advertising, improving response times and catching issues earily before they become problems.
